"I stumbled into wood firing by accident, but it felt instantly familiar. The fire, the light, the intensity — all of it drew me in with the same all-consuming focus I’ve always loved.

There’s a deep sense of connection in the process, to the past and to the flames themselves. It’s still an experimental part of my practice, but the challenge and the unpredictable marks left by fire and ash keep calling me back."
